Operation Elf Toy Ride. In Memory of Jimmy Lyles
We are beyond excited to share that the Operation ELF Toy Run 2025 is on November 15, 2025! This year, we have the honor of putting on the Toy Run in memory of Jimmy Lyles, who recently lost his courageous battle with cancer.
Jimmy was a proud Marine, a dedicated Veteran, and most of all, a man of service and love.

Higher Purpose-The Event Foundation and Operation E.L.F. are honored and proud to serve the children and families in the STARS Program (Specialized Treatment Recovery Services), whose families are navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges such as being involved with Child Protective Services (CPS), Early Intervention Family Treatment Court (EIFTC), and Dependency Family Treatment Court (DFTC).
Our commitment is simple yet powerful: every child feels the magic of the holiday season. We strive to renew hope for each family, believing in a better tomorrow.

Our History
Higher Purpose-The Event Foundation is an organization that dates back to 1995. We are a nonprofit that takes pride in creating change that will last a lifetime.
This nonprofit was created by Ryan Fleenor, a man who put his heart and soul into everything that he did. Ryan’s legacy will live on forever in the work we do. Ryan founded this nonprofit and it is our mission to carry on the vision he started.
The Work
Our nonprofit is based in Sacramento, CA and serves Sacramento county and many surrounding counties. Throughout the stages of our development we have been involved with several notable groups such as; Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Toys for Tots, STARS Program, WEAVE, Sayonara Community Center, Cross Road Treatment Center, Mustard Seed, Paradise Oaks Youth Services, Nor Cal Clean and Sober Living, Martins Achievement, Power House Ministries, The Effort, Saint John’s program for real change, Cottage Housing, and New Hope Street Ministries. Over the years we have done many events and fundraisers to support these organizations and strive to meet the needs of each person we get the honor to serve.
